Compact powder has always been one of those small but important steps in my routine. It’s the finishing touch that can either pull everything together or make things feel a bit off.
Over time, I’ve tried a few, but two that left a clear impression on me are Mecredi Skinfinite Luxe and Wardah Colorfit. They both sit in my makeup pouch for different reasons, depending on how I want my skin to look that day.
1. Mecredi Skinfinite Luxe Compact Powder
This one feels a bit more refined the moment you open it. The texture is very smooth, almost silky when you pick it up with a puff or brush. When I apply it, it doesn’t feel heavy at all—instead, it blends in like a soft veil. What I personally notice is how it gives a slightly polished look without making my skin appear flat. There’s a subtle elegance to the finish, like your skin but a little more perfected.
2. Wardah Colorfit Velvet Powder Foundation
Wardah Colorfit, on the other hand, feels more casual and easygoing. The texture is lighter, and when I use it, it gives a more natural, everyday finish. It’s the kind of powder I can apply quickly without thinking too much, and it still looks good. What stands out to me is how breathable it feels. It doesn’t sit too obviously on the skin, which makes it comfortable for daily wear. I often use this when I’m in a rush or just want something simple to even things out a bit.
Using both of these made me realize how much finish matters. Mecredi Skinfinite Luxe feels more like a “special moment” kind of product—something I pick when I want a smoother, slightly more refined look. Meanwhile, Wardah Colorfit fits right into everyday life, quick and uncomplicated.
