Hi Lykkers! I've seen this comparison all over social media lately, and after trying both, I can definitely see why people keep putting these two lip balms side by side.
Are they identical? Not completely. But if someone handed me one without showing the packaging, I'd probably understand why the dupe conversation exists.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

Price: $25 (0.5 oz)
This is the lip balm that started my obsession with tinted lip treatments. The formula feels rich, smooth, and incredibly comfortable on the lips. I have the Vanilla Beige shade, and while I love the color, I will say the scent is stronger than I expected. Thankfully, it's a scent I enjoy. One thing I really appreciate is the silicone applicator. It feels soft on the lips and spreads the product evenly without making a mess. The formula itself is thick but never feels heavy, and my lips stay hydrated for hours after application.

Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm

Price: $10 (0.34 oz)
The first time I tried this, I immediately understood why people compare it to Summer Fridays. The color payoff and glossy finish are surprisingly similar. Some shades even remind me of Summer Fridays equivalents, especially Chai, which gives me very similar vibes to Vanilla Beige. The biggest differences come down to the texture and packaging. The applicator is firmer and flatter, and I noticed I had to squeeze the tube a little harder than expected to get product out.
Not every "dupe" on the internet deserves the title, but this is one comparison that actually makes sense. Summer Fridays still wins when it comes to the overall experience, but Naturium gets surprisingly close where it matters most—the color, shine, and hydrated lip look. If you've been curious about Summer Fridays but don't want to spend $25 on a lip balm, Naturium might be the product that convinces you to save some money without sacrificing the results.
