Welcome Lykkers! I never used to understand the hype around face mists. For the longest time, I thought they were just fancy bottles of water.
But after dealing with dry air-conditioned rooms, long work days, and makeup that sometimes starts looking tired halfway through the day, I finally got it.
Now, there's almost always a face mist somewhere near me—on my desk, in my bag, or next to my skincare shelf. These are the two I've been reaching for the most lately.
1. Dear Klairs Fundamental Ampule Mist
This is the face mist I grab when my skin feels like it's begging for hydration. The mist feels incredibly fine and refreshing, almost like a soft cloud landing on my face. I love using it when I've been sitting in air conditioning for hours and my skin starts feeling a little tight. My skin actually feels nourished afterward, not just temporarily damp. Sometimes I'll even spray it between skincare steps because my skin seems to drink it up so quickly.
2. Kayman Beauty Hyalumelon Mist Toner
I bought this one during a phase when my skin was looking particularly dull and dehydrated. The first thing I noticed was how refreshing it felt. Whenever my face starts feeling tired in the middle of the day, a few sprays instantly make everything feel more comfortable. I also like using it before makeup or when my skin needs a little boost without applying another layer of skincare.
There's something really satisfying about reaching for this mist during a busy day. It's become one of those products I use almost without thinking.
I used to think face mists were completely unnecessary until I found a few that genuinely made my skin feel better. The Klairs Fundamental Ampule Mist feels like a little hydration treatment whenever my skin is feeling depleted, while the Kayman Beauty Hyalumelon Mist Toner has become my go-to refresh button throughout the day. Neither product feels like a chore to use, which is probably why I reach for them so often.
