When my skin starts acting up, I usually pay extra attention to the toner step. A good toner can make the whole routine feel calmer and more balanced, especially during stressful weeks when breakouts suddenly appear out of nowhere.
Recently, I tried two different toners with completely different vibes, and honestly, both gave their own interesting experience on the skin.

1. Anetos Balancing Toner – 22:00 Edition

The first thing I noticed about this toner was how comforting it felt at night. The texture is light, but it still leaves enough moisture to make the skin feel fresh before bed. I personally like using it around 22:00 because it gives that “finally done with the day” feeling. The formula feels gentle and doesn’t leave any sticky layer afterward, which is something I always look for in a toner. What made me continue using it was the balanced finish. My skin didn’t feel too oily, but it also didn’t become dry after a few minutes.

2. Whitelab Acne Toner

Whitelab Acne Toner gave me a totally different impression from the first use. This one felt more focused on helping skin that easily gets small bumps and sudden acne spots. I remember trying it during a breakout phase, and the cooling sensation made the skin feel calmer almost immediately. The texture is watery and simple, but sometimes simple products work the best. I liked using this toner in the morning because it helped my skin feel cleaner without making it tight.
One thing I appreciated about these toners was that they didn’t feel harsh. They provided a cleaner, fresher feeling without making my routine feel too intense. For people who prefer skincare that is practical and easy to use daily, these toners fit nicely into a simple routine.
