Hey Lykkers! Whenever my skin starts looking dull or uneven, Vitamin C is usually the first ingredient I add back into my routine.
I've tried quite a few brightening serums over the years, but not all of them gave me noticeable results. These two, however, made enough of a difference that I kept reaching for them.
If you're looking for a Vitamin C serum that can help boost radiance and improve the appearance of post-acne marks, here are two that worked well for me.

1. Votre Peau Vitamin C Serum Pour Maharis Clinic

This serum has an extremely watery texture—so watery that I've accidentally spilled a few drops more than once. The upside is that it absorbs incredibly fast. As soon as I apply it, it practically disappears into my skin and doesn't leave behind any sticky feeling, which I really appreciate, especially during warmer days.
I started noticing a brighter, more radiant complexion after about two weeks of consistent use. Another thing I liked was how it seemed to help improve the appearance of both PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) and PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) left behind by old breakouts. For me, this is the kind of serum that fits easily into a morning routine because it feels so lightweight.

2. Elsheskin Daily Boost Antioxidant Serum

Compared to the Votre Peau serum, this one has a runnier gel texture. It still absorbs relatively quickly, but I do notice a slight tackiness afterward. That said, the results made me keep using it. After around three weeks, my skin started looking more even and noticeably brighter.
What stood out most was how it helped improve the appearance of uneven skin tone while also making post-acne dark spots look less noticeable. Whenever my complexion starts looking a little dull, this is one of the products I enjoy bringing back into my routine.
If I had to choose based on texture alone, I'd probably pick Votre Peau because it feels incredibly lightweight and effortless on the skin. But when it comes to overall brightening, both serums have earned a place in my skincare rotation. One thing I've learned is that Vitamin C works even better when paired with sunscreen. Every morning, I make sure to apply sunscreen after my Vitamin C serum, and I feel like that's when I see the best results.
